Back in April, I noted that the practice of outsourcing legal work to India continues, notwithstanding concerns about ethics, attorney-client privilege and quality control. But can legal process outsourcing (LPO) companies retain enough lawyers to handle or supervise outsourced legal work? India’s national newspaper, The Hindu, is reporting that young lawyers who previously headed in droves for lucrative jobs at LPO companies are now seeking to transition to conventional legal jobs with domestic law firms…
