Treasury’s TARP Office is leasing space on the same block as where Ajilon and Hudson have satellite work space: 18th and L streets NW. It’s a 10-year lease.
The department, through the General Services Administration, has signed a lease for four floors of a building at 18th and L streets NW. It’s a 10-year lease.
The EEOC used to be located at 18th & L, but moved to Northeast a few months ago.
So how long a financial downturn is the administration anticipating? President Obama has not put a date on it, saying that this year is going to be tough, but next year might be better. But it would appear that the Treasury Department thinks the Troubled Assets Relief Program, that $700 billion bank bailout, may be around for a while.



Well they probably got a great deal on the lease so might as well milk its term for as long as possible.
God, as long as they don’t use Ajilon and the crap that they force people to put up with… I’d rather slit my wrists than work for them and their minions from hell again. ATTN: TARP – don’t use our worst enemy.
not really a big deal. if it is a gov’t services lease, they can get out of it so easily if they need to.
