Technical Consultant – Forensics / eDiscovery.  Our client develops the world’s most advanced eDiscovery and electronic investigation software. The Forensics Technical Consultant will be a key member of the organisation supporting presales and delivery of consultancy and implementation services of this product to clients.   

Our client develops the world’s most advanced eDiscovery and electronic investigation software. Their customers include law firms, litigation support service providers, enterprise, advisory firms, government departments, police and anti-corruption bodies, as well as regulatory and security agencies. 

Role and Responsibilities 

The Forensics Technical Consultant will be a key member of the organisation supporting the delivery of consultancy and implementation services of this world leading ediscovery software product to clients.   The Technical Consultant will be a critical part of all stages of the product delivery lifecycle.  

Working proactively with all areas of the business, the role will focus primarily on being the client-facing technical expert, providing support and advice to both the sales teams and directly to clients thereafter.  This will include: 

  • Presales consulting – recommending processes and advising on timings and costs
  • Set up, configuration and support of software to new clients
  • On-going support to clients to maintain steady state and implement new requirements/upgrades
  • Conduct technical diagnosis of operational problems where necessary
  • Work closely with internal support organisations and other business units to monitor the status of ongoing technology issues and expedite resolution. 

Requirements, Qualifications and Characteristics 

  • Educated to degree level preferably in the area of computer science/maths etc.
  • 3 years minimum experience as a litigation support analyst/technical consultant
  • Must have deep knowledge and understanding of forensic investigations
  • Preferably from development or support background with consultancy experience
  • Experienced in identifying and clarifying client’s business, process and technical needs
    in a clear and logical manner.
  • Good skills in maintaining relationships with clients and other external parties;
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to assist in presales presentations
  • Organised and methodical approach to problem solving
